Executive Coaching

I love working with people who challenge the status quo. My clients are changemakers, intrapreneurs and entrepreneurs, who:

  • lead cross-functional teams in innovative organizations

  • drive change within more traditional entities; or

  • build their own businesses out of a groundbreaking idea.

A changemaker’s drive to achieve ambitious, often unprecedented, results must be matched with a capacity to build communities that promote individual agency and collective support. Too many leaders lack the integrated vision, execution plan, and people skills needed to live up to their professional potential.

To help you attain your peak performance, we tailor each of our coaching engagements so that you, as our client, can grow across multiple dimensions such as:

  • develop your capacity to grow your self-confidence and gravitas;

  • form trust-based relationships in order to deepen your strategic influence within your teams and across your organization;

  • break through challenges, relationships, and behaviors that might hold you back; and/or

  • amplify your unique leadership voice among your peer group, teams, C-level management and the Board.

Intrapreneur

One who creates and runs a new initiative, product, or enterprise within an existing organization; leads within an innovative company. Known as a catalyst of change.

Entrepreneur

One who owns or starts their own entity, either to generate a profit, make a difference, or both. Known as a risk-taker, disruptor.

Both are

Self-motivated to take action and think critically. They learn from their mistakes and improve upon their ideas for personal and professional growth.

Strategic Advisory & Facilitation

The most brilliantly architected business strategy is merely a thought exercise if it is not supported by action plans, structures and capabilities that drive execution. Leveraging both leadership and coaching expertise, I advise mid-level executives and entrepreneurs on a broad range of topics related to overcoming constraints on organizational and commercial growth.

With the goal of building high-performance cultures that offer community and result in unparalleled performance, I partner with executives and their leadership teams to address their greatest challenges.

Leadership Research

We are each a product of our experiences. Our behaviors, actions, words, and tone reflect the impactful moments that have shaped us. I have always been fascinated by the human journey and love seeing how that journey impacts the way one shows up in daily life. I conduct ongoing research to learn from the journeys of leaders, not only to expand my own understanding and bring it into my coaching work via new frameworks, driving questions, and exploratory exercises; but also to share the learnings so that others can benefit and grow.

Problem Statement

Today’s mentoring model needs an upgrade. We seek wisdom and guidance, and formal programs are only a small piece of the solution. What if everyone could access and apply a diversity of lived experience and leadership stories to help them navigate challenging situations and decision points? Few people have candid exposure to enough real-life situational examples to access, question, combine, experiment with, and create personal meaning. I endeavor to change this.

JEWEL: Joining and Empowering Women in the Exploration of Lived experience

My initial research, the JEWEL Project, examines lessons gleaned from professional women leaders, age 45-65, about the influential people and events that have shaped their careers. Their reflections serve to become a resource for anyone navigating a career.  The lived experiences of these changemakers and leaders-- VPs, CXOs, executive directors, partners, medical administrators, university deans and clergy-- inspire and provide insight that can support career development and growth for all professionals, particularly women.

Sharing

Through social media, current and aspirational leaders will have an opportunity to learn from snippets of these stories. They will be prompted with driving questions, similar to those in a coaching engagement, that lead to the development of self-awareness and growth.
